S...I did talk to the Vice principal about it today. She was originally handling the situation and she wouldn't have suspended Jon. BUT, the principal took over and handled it much differently. I inquired why the other mom wouldn't meet and the answer to that was "she's tired of having to deal with this sort of situation." I sort of feel like if you're going to let it bother you so much, you should be willing to deal with it. I just hate that it's such a big deal still.
