UGH! When will summer end?!

Well, it's August 8th and the summer season is officially d-r-a-g-g-i-n-g! The boys are having a great ole time but I've done nothing spectacular or even remotely cool. I remember so looking forward to summer when I was a kid. But now that I'm a mom, I don't look forward to summer at all! Mid June, as the school year was coming to a close and all the moms were scurrying from one activity to another, trying their damndest not to miss one show, class party, or field day, there were so many moms and teachers stopping me with a kind word....."Don't worry, summer's almost here!" After I picked my jaw up off the floor, I had to let them know my thoughts on the subject...."Is that supposed to make me feel better?::::confused look from me::::I have four boys that will be home 24/7! Summer is going to be here soon, that's exactly why I'm worried!" Some people just don't get it! Well, now that summer's coming to an end, I guess it wasn't such a traumatic experience for me. The boys are all still alive and my hair isn't completely gray....yet!
