It's a beautiful day!

It's such a beautiful day out here in Cali that I am actually wearing shorts and a tshirt! Yes, that's right, me, the one who gets cold in the middle of a heat wave is warm enough to be so scantily clad on a winter day! It's wonderful. Tanner and I went on a long walk around the field, fighting the "dark forces" with his homemade light "savers" It was fun. I did get yelled at once for using my light saver instead of the invisible gun he gave me.....my mistake! We took the bunny out of his hutch for a bit and let him romp around in the knee high grass. We sat amidst the weeds for at least 45 minutes just watching the hordes of lady bugs. It was amazing, they were everywhere! It was even relatively easy to teach Tanner NOT to squash them! We now have a bug city jam packed with the spotted wonders. I tried to tell Tucker that he could only keep them long enough to show dad. We'll see how traumatic the release is.....Tanner had his photo shoot yesterday. He was a turd and a half! Wouldn't do anything they asked him to do. I'm pretty sure she managed to get some decent shots despite his grumpy mood. Ironically, the pictures were for a feature article about Happy Kids! LOL It's supposed to come out in the May issue of Parents magazine. I'm not sure if they'll use his pics because he was in one of 2 sets of kids that had photos taken for that piece. We shall see. Regardless of if he appears in the mag, he got paid. More money for his account! Go Tanner! He wasn't liking the shoot solely because of the outfit he had to wear....what a prima donna! Jake just informed me that.......he's bored! That is my LEAST favorite thing to hear from my boys. UGH. I told him to go make his own fun. Hopefully that doesn't include torturing his little brothers! Tomorrow, I get the luxury of going for pedicures with a dear friend of mine who I haven't seen in quite a while! I'm really looking forward to the relaxation and chit chat even though I have a wound on the bottom of one foot. Not sure what happened but I will gladly take a bit of pain in exchange for the pampering of the mind........

Hi Dana,
I followed your link from the comment you left on my blog (Boy Story). Right away, your blog looked familar. When I scrolled down and saw the Halloween picture I know I was here before!

I never knew how many moms of 4 boys were out there until I started blogging!

I have to agree that "I'm boooooreeeed." Is the most annoying phrase in the world!
