6 mos

So, here I am at the start of my sixth month of this pregnancy. I can't believe how quickly it's gone by! That's usually something that only happens for other people.... There are a lot of exciting things coming up in the near future and I have a feeling that the rest of this pregnancy may fly by as well. I am having a 3D ultrasound done next Saturday. I'm pretty excited about this because I've never had one done or seen one done. I've only seen pics of what it looks like and I have to say, it's pretty cool! We should be able to get a pretty good idea about what this critter is going to look like. I'm already guessing from the regular u/s that he's going to look more like Tucker and Tanner with the round face as compared to Jake with his long chin (like mine!) The u/s tech will also verify the male-ness of the baby, give an approximate delivery date and approximate size. I'm guessing this guy will be a big one since that seems to be the norm for my babies. I've been feeling pretty good and able to eat well enough that maybe this one will break the record (10 lbs!) Only time will tell. After the u/s we are heading out to take the kids on a quickie camping trip. Just Saturday night. But, we'll be spending Sunday at a nearby beach in Pescadero. I'm looking forward to getting away because the kids LOVE this campground but I'm not looking forward to sleeping on the ground! UGH! My body is starting to feel the pregnancy a bit more now and sleeping isn't the most relaxing thing. THEN, before I know it, school will be starting! YIPEE! Jon is going into 7th, Jake finishes summer session on Friday but starts fall session on the 5th in 5th grade. Tucker is going to be in 2nd again but he's got a great attitude about it and *may* even get back into the school we actually want him at! (long story, we're interdistrict transfers and get placed where there's room...IF there's room!) Tanner starts preschool again on the 11th! He'll be BMOC since he's 4 now! WOW! With all the back to school activities, Halloween will be here before we know it! Quickly followed by Thanksgiving and Christmas! Now all I need to do is find some time to fit in childbirth in between it all! Should be fun!

hey Dana! You're right, the last six months did fly by. We've left California, I wish we could have been up your way, we have another friend we want to visit who lives not too far from you. Maybe next summer!
