Surprise, surprise!

My dad left for his annual Alaska fishing trip today. Before he left, he called me and the boys to come up for a visit so he could give them all a squeeze and say goodbye. When I got up there, Dad hands me a card with my name on it and says, "Here you go, Happy Bday" WHAT?! My birthday was in January so I didn't know what was going on but my dad had his shit eating grin on. I'm sure you all know the one......it's a cheshire cat grin......like he has a secret about you that's funnier than anything and he's thinking about it right now. Well, Dad did have a secret and as soon as I opened that card, I found out. He gave me a HUGE check! I'm talking more zeros than I've ever had in my bank account all in ONE check. He wrote that since Granny left him quite an inheritance, he wanted to make sure he shared it all with his wonderful children. My dad is the best. I, of course, being the crybaby that I am, lost it immediately. My hands were even shaking! This is going to really help my family! My dad is awesome.......
