Who is this man sized creature? Who took my baby and left THIS in his place? When did this all happen? What am I supposed to do about it? As if there is ANYTHING I could do! I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that just 14 years ago, this, this.....man-ish thing was my baby! Can you believe how big and grown up he is? If this is what he looks like at a mere 14, I think I'm in for some trouble........

He is a very handsome boy (man-ish thing?!) and I expect you'll be fighting the girls off pretty soon (if not already). I don't know how I'm going to cope when my boys are that age!! Already 6 years has sped by, I guess the next 8 will go fast too!

In just seven more years Jacob will be that age. And just seven years ago he was a baby and that was YESTERDAY! AIY.
I don't think Jon will have much trouble finding a date.
It is way too scary how fast kids grow up. Nobody asked me if I was ready!
OOh, this one will be fighting girls off with a stick. I often tell my son that the only girl he needs is his mama, but I have a feeling that when his is your son's age (in a mere twelve and a half years) that he won't believe this to be true anymore. Sigh.
