Ok, so Jared and I are watching a movie in our room last night (Bride and Prejudice....think Grease in India) we're just kicking back, watching the movie and trying oh so hard to get Tanner to STOP TALKING AND GO TO SLEEP! Suddenly, Jared shrieks like a girl and jumps up...."I just saw a RAT run across the room! Did you see it?!?!? Did you?" EWWWWW, Noooo, I was actually watching the movie, not the bedroom floor! I told him, "Well, what are you waiting for? Go get it!" So, he starts rifling through all the odds and ends in our "tornado trashed" room. No sign of the beast. Jared settles down a bit and lo and behold, who going prancing across the floor not 1 minute later? The stinkin "rat"! Ok, first of all, let me say, we do not live in a filthy rat infested shack out here in California....We happen to live in a rather lovely and unique "used to be barn but now it's not" house.....in the country. Since it's been super hot lately (100+) I'm guessing the lil terds came in for some relief. But, really, YUCK! They continued to f*ck with us for the next hour by occasionally skittering by.....little shits! And guess who I just saw running by as I sit to write this? Yep, it's Mighty Mouse! Not quite a rat but the biggest fricken mouse I've seen in awhile! UGH....I guess I'm off to buy some traps today. BUT, first, I get the extreme displeasure of cleaning up this room! YEAH for me! At least it'll be done.....

I was not diagnosed until I was almost 30. I was probably showing signs at 20 but I ignored them. It usually is diagnosed in adults but children are diagnosed with it as well. Alot of the people on my links are bipolar as well. Some may have been diagnosed younger. I am more than happy to tell you anything I can about it or share my experiences with it, meds, and docs. Oh good god! We had rats once in our attic - they're disgusting!
Just as a note, our son A was diagnosed as bipolar - he's been okay on a mood stabilizer. The tension between him and his siblings, though...exhausting!
