Slowly going insane....

My boys are officially driving me nuts! Still no word on when Jake and Tucker might be expected to get into school. Why the school district is so dead set on messing with me is a mystery! Summer's officially past the point of being fun....enough is enough already! Jon had his first day of middle school yesterday. He seemed to like it enough....it's hard to tell because he's at that "jerky" stage in life where it's not cool to tell your mom too much. It was like pulling teeth getting him to tell me about his classes. He's just too cool for me, really. I think it's great that he's becoming an individual and wanting to dress and act in certain ways. I feel fortunate that I had a fairly easy going boy for 11 years. I do think that I'm very open minded and he could be much more respectful to me. He's allowed to dress how he likes (within reason) we just bleached his hair, really, why can't he be a little nicer? I think I'm a pretty hip mom! He was so ticked off yesterday by our after school errands, it was ridiculous. It was hectic.....drop Tucker at Sylvan at 3:30, race to the dentist by 4 (lucky Jake got 2 teeth pulled!) run home to get Jon's football gear, pick up Tucker by 5:30, drop Jon off to practice....WHAT?! You have a list of supplies you need BY TOMORROW?!?!? Yeah, that was the bombshell he dropped on me at 5. SO, after I dropped him off to practice, I got to go fight the hordes in Walmart to get him his stuff! Did he say Thanks? No, sure didn't. He DID complain about having to go to a 2 hour practice and having dinner so late! He's a real gem! The highlight of my night was when my honors student claimed to not know how to wash a pan! Yeah, he was pretty much sent to bed without dinner after that 10 minute argument. Why did I want kids? Am I allowed to sell them on Ebay? I know, this post is rambling and strange.....deal with it! I'm tired and just blah today!
