threats from the school

So, Wednesday I got an email from the principal stating that since my boys are problems at the school (and the school can't seem to treat them in a postive manner) She said that if my boys have one more instance of defiance or if they are asked to leave the classroom, their interdistrict transfer will be revoked. UGH! I am just so angry about this. I researched laws all day yesterday (with my boys home) There was no way I was going to send them to school just to have their transfers revoked yesterday. I needed a day to get my ducks in a row. So, I've been finding that basically they CAN revoke the transfers if they want to be really uncaring and rude. BUT, they haven't even finished with the assessments of my kids. I was honest from the get go. Day one I told them that my boys had issues and I wanted them to be assessed asap. They are treating my boys like it's nothing more than a behavior problem even though Jake has a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder. It's infuriating. I feel like they have declared war. That's fine with me......I always like to fight for a good cause! It's on!
