Man, it's been forever

I haven't posted anything in the longest time. I'm sure nobody is even reading by now! It was a fairly uneventful Christmas which is good! The boys got too much stuff (of course) I'm so glad it's over. It such a hectic time of year. It was a pretty boring new year. We sat around, doing next to nothing and I didn't even get a New Year's KISS! Jon got to go to a really fun party at church and when I returned from picking him up (at 1:30 am) Jared had drawn me a nice, hot bubble bath with candles everywhere. It was very romantic! So, all in all, it ended up being a nice night. I think we both would have preferred going out with our friends but childcare was nowhere to be found. I think we're just doomed to spend New Year's Eve at home until a)the kids are grown and gone or b)they get their meds worked out so they are nearly human. We have 5 more days till the boys go back to school (not that I'm counting!) It's been horrid weather here so we've been confined to the house. We are quickly developing pretty severe cases of "cabin fever" (anyone see the Shining?) UGH! Hope you are all doing well and having a great new year so far!
