When you've got a 6 pack of boys, everyday is a PARTY! How, you ask, do I manage to stay so sane? That, my friends, is only an illusion......

How did I get so busy?
So, I've been really busy lately. So busy that I've hardly been online! YIKES! I don't know for sure how it happened. There have been a lot of changes here. Jake FINALLY got moved to a special day class for Emotionally Disturbed kids. I really hate the label. He's emotional, yeah, but I don't think he's disturbed! This new class is wonderful (so far) There are only 10 kids in the class and they are in 2-5th grades. (9 are boys!) There is 1 teacher (fantastic woman) and 3 aides. He gets so much support and positive energy. He's still really testing them and they are passing with flying colors. They are very flexible and supportive of him. I've heard so many great things about my son already! He is having some difficulty though with meds. He's having a lot of trouble falling asleep so I think I need to get him some meds to help out with that. I know it's just a side affect of his current meds but sleep deprivation is turning him into a monster! Jon just finished up his first semester in middle school and he did really well. He ended up with a 3.67 overall. Not bad for a chronic procrasinator! He's been very active in his church group and with the boy scout troop. He and Jared (DH) just went on a snowboarding weekend. It was Jon's first time and he loved it and did really well. He leaves this Saturday for ANOTHER camping weekend. (Lucky kid!) Tucker is doing really well in school. He was very upset that Jake was leaving him but he's managed to really turn things around for himself. The teacher and I have worked out a system and I feel like it's really been good for him. He gets a lot of positive reinforcement and he's enjoying school more. He's really at risk for retention though and I don't know if he'll be able to pull it off. I did offer him $20 if he moves on to 3rd grade (No, I'm not above bribery when it's for a good cause!) Jared's business has been flourishing. He's doing such a great job! I'm so proud of him. He may even need to teach me how to service pools so I can help him out part time during the summer. We are really trying to avoid having employees! Tanner just got his second modeling job today! He will be doing a shoot for Parent's magazine tomorrow! I'm excited and so is he! He keeps telling me, "mom, I need a job!" Needless to say, he's thrilled! That's about it for us. I feel like I live in my car with all the driving I do. Speaking of.....I'm off to go pick up Jon!
