Today is the big day!

September 1st! You're probably wondering what's so special? Well, today is the first day that Jared is officially ON HIS OWN! He does service and repairs on swimming pools and equipment. He's been doing this for years and has always thought it would be so much better if he owned his own business. IE: his boss would make $85 per hour on repairs and Jared would get, say, $22 of it! YIKES! So, we took a giant leap of faith along with some of my Dad's loaned money and bought a pool route from one of Jared's business friends! I am soooo excited for him! He's going to do so well! This will be a great thing for our family too since we've always "just got by" Maybe we can do things now like, Hmmmm, send the boys to summer camp AND still be able to pay rent that month!?!?! Novel idea, huh? Of course, he was like a chicken with his head cut off this morning. As I'm bringing him his coffee in his cute lil to go cup, I ask if he has everything he needs? "Yep! I do." I ask, "Do you have your customer list with all the new addresses?" J- "Um, no, do you know where that is? Can you go get if for me?" Of course I did and I didn't tell him what a dork he was for forgetting what has to be one of THE MOST important parts of the job....the addresses. I just told him to go out there and be adorable like he is and I bet people will love him so much they'll be getting him MORE business! I signed online to check email....we had one of our new customers respond to our intro letter. I tried to call to let him know and guess what?! His cell rang.....on the nightstand where he left it! UGH! I guess maybe he's a little excited too? First day jitters got his brain in a fog?
