When you've got a 6 pack of boys, everyday is a PARTY! How, you ask, do I manage to stay so sane? That, my friends, is only an illusion......

Happy Halloween!
So, it's Halloween and I am finally ready! It's such a big deal, Halloween, when there are small children in the house. The kids get so hyped up for the "free candy" ....that's what it's all about, you know. I think if they could wear their street clothes and get away with going door to door asking for candy, they would. BUT, they follow the rules like good little monsters and they dress up. This year, I have a Train Conductor (Tanner will be sporting a 30 year old Osh Kosh one piece train conductor type suit....bell bottoms and all! TOOT TOOT) Spiderman (Tucker. What's a Halloween without a Super Hero?!?!) An army general. (Jake was so excited to find this vintage military jacket. I wish I knew the history but I don't. It's a 36 long so he's swimming in it and very happy to know that it'll fit him for years to come) Last but not least, an evil skeleton type freak with 3 ft long dreads (Jon is thrilled to have such a scary costume!) I always dress up as well (I guess I'm a big kid at heart) This year, my costume idea was given to me by Tanner. I am going to be a Tooth Fairy. I think when all is said and done, it'll be quite cute. I'm thrilled because the most expensive part was the tiara for $10! I found a great dress at a second hand store for $3.49! Can't beat that! DH of course is being all Grinchy and not dressing up.....again! I did buy him some funky teeth. We shall see if he'll wear them. So, how about you? Do you dress up? Go trick or treating? Any great Halloween traditions? Be safe and have a great night!

i like your ultra feminune costume among all of those boys :)
Me too! I felt like such a girly girl in that costume. When we arrived at our trick or treating destination, I got out of the car and a little girl saw me. She said, "Mommy, look at that beautiful princess!" Awww, I did feel like a princess!
