All is well!

Many thanks for all your prayers. We just got home and Brennen is sleeping peacefully with his Daddy. Long story short...Brennen was born with an undescended testicle. It happens in only about 3% of full term boys. Most of the time, it comes down on it's own by 6 mos. Not so with Brennen. SO, for several reasons (the biggest being the ease with which they can check for possible testicular cancer) we decided to have it surgically fixed. He did great! He's a bit hoarse from the breathing tube and his lil boy parts look pretty sore but he was a real champ. He came out of the anesthesia kicking and talking! Not many smiles from him today but he's okay and everything looked healthy and normal. SO, I'm very relieved that it's over! Lucky for us they had the cancellation and we were able to get in sooner than the 18th. I imagine it would hurt more if he was totally crawling! If I knew how to download pics from my phone I'd post it....otherwise you'll just have to imagine how dang cute he was in his non skid socks (BRIGHT yellow), puppy print gown and funky blue bonnet! Thanks again for the prayers and well wishes!

Glad to hear that all went well. I knew God was holding him in His hands. I kinda figured the surgery was about that, having two boys myself I remember them being checked for the same thing and being told how to check them myself during their bath times.
