Busy Saturday

We've been running around all day and are finally home! WHEW! Tucker and Jake had karate this morning. Jake swore up and down that he wasn't going to karate and when he did get there he was telling his instructor that he's quitting....well, 5 minutes later, he was back upstairs, fully ready for karate and asking me to help him with his belt! That kid makes absolutely no sense! Tucker and Jake both did really well with their lessons. Jake tends to be a bit spastic. I think he figures if he acts really silly nobody will notice if he makes a mistake, they'll just assume he was being silly. It's too bad because if he would show a little more self control, he'd be REALLY good! He's got great balance and he's really coordinated. Oh well, hopefully he'll learn in time not to be such a dork about it all. Tanner had his lesson next. He's doing pretty well. When it's a really full class, like this morning, he tends to get a bit antsy. He needs to focus.....We made a quickie trip to walmart for a new folding chair for football games....turned in Jake's med prescription...YEP! He's back on meds. He took it with no fighting and he's been acting pretty calm. He's on Zoloft....again. It didn't really work before but I wanted to give it a try since that's what his new doc is recommending. I will give it a longer chance this time because I desperately need something that will help him. Jon's game was at 3. His first of the season. Let's just say it wasn't the best game I've ever seen. The score was 36-6..... I told Jon that I really like his coach this year, he seems really good. Jon's response was..."I guess. He hasn't won a game in 2 years though." OH NO! It may be a really L-O-N-G season!
