Thanksgiving traditions.

So, just wondering what your Thanksgiving traditions are out there. Anything that you do yearly that you and your family really looks forward to? I mean, besides the feasting? On hubby's side of the family we do Turkey Olympics. It's great fun and the kids LOVE it. We break the family into 2 teams and we play really silly relay race type games. ie: The Leaning Tower of Cheesa : each team gets 1 box of Ritz crackers and 1 can of spray cheese and we see how can make the tallest free standing tower. Or another funny one is the Nut Drop : players take turns carrying a whole nut between their knees and dropping it in a container. It looks REALLY funny and is hilarious to watch. We usually have around 10 games and we do keep score. There's really no prizes, just bragging rights. Then we enjoy our dinner together.

So, let's hear it! What traditions do you have that you just can't live without?

We don't have any cool traditions like you guys. Those games sound awesome. We'll have to borrow those ideas and start some game time here. :D

Just being together with family, eating and probably watching a football game.

The last 2 years we started making a photo ornament for the Christmas tree after dinner with the cousins. It's fun and cheap and it gives them a good memory.
