chickies, chickies everywhere

I recently picked up 8 FREE chicks from a lady off of craigslist. They are SO cute and run around the coop like mad, wreaking havoc on the older, less patient hens. I've still got 3 hens sitting on their eggs and one has managed to hatch 4 babies now! They are SO cute. (if I could locate my camera cord, I'd post a picture!) I do have one snotty hen who I believe is responsible for killing one of the first hatched chicks. I went into the hen house today to feed them and the poor lil red chicky was dead. I was bummed out and so were the boys. Gosh, it's amazing how simple my life is right now!
