I'm worn down and time is running out......

I'm finding that getting my daily chores done is not really any easier with the boys at school. Why is this, you might ask? Well, one word....BRENNEN! He's a ball of energy. He's bouncing off the walls and running wild. While I'm busy cleaning up one mess, he's hard at work making another. I'm allowed to tranquilize my child right? Just for a short time....so I can get something done? Yeah, I thought not. Where did my calm, well mannered little boy go? The one whose daily goal was to please his mommy? Well, he's turned into a highly opinionated ball of fire and his word of the day, every day, seems to be NO! I have SO many things to get accomplished. Super time consuming things and only 40 days until my due date! It's crunch time! Any legal suggestions? That don't require paying a babysitter? You know, since I'm broke and all....

So that means duct tape and shock collars aren't acceptable options either?

How about food? can't ya throw him in a high chair and give him some food. Oh pudding painting was always good for my boys when I needed to get something done. They'd paint creations with pudding, eat their share and then I'd wash up the high chair and whatever I needed done was complete!

Or give him chores to help you with. If you're doing laundry then have him fold the wash cloths, or the same shirt 25 times till you're done. If you're making dinner give him a cup and a spoon and stand him at the sink.

If all else fails I suggest a class C fire extinguisher which works on all types of fires.....

I would suggest putting on his favorite movie. If he doesn't have one then go to the dollar store and buy him a cheap one. I would suggest GROUP NAP but then you'd be back to square one nothing would get done.

Except that awesome nap!
