Poking an angry bear with a stick!

Well, Jake and Tucker FINALLY started school on Tuesday. Let me just say, it's not been a pleasant experience so far. Jake HATES this school. The district wasn't able to get him into the school that he'd been going to for the last 2 years and with a bipolar child, this is a travesty! He's becoming increasingly aggitated each day. He is now threatening to run away from school or do his best to get suspended! This morning was a real challenge. He wouldn't even get out of bed! He kept telling me that he was sick to his stomach. This is a common tactic he uses when he doesn't want to do something. I made him get dressed anyway. I felt like such a mean mom doing it. He never got around to eating breakfast because, well, he just didn't get ready on time. I had to bring his backpack out to the car because he wouldn't and when we got to the school 15 minutes later, he STILL didn't have his shoes on! The whole car ride there, Tucker was antagonizing the hell out of Jake. They were both going at it and Tanner was even piping up! I told Tucker that if I was him, I wouldn't be poking a stick at an angry bear! It's just stupid! Well, Jake is at school. Once again, I am a ball of nerves just wondering if the next phone call will be the school telling me that Jake's gone missing. There's got to be something I can do about this. It SUCKS!
