A light at the end of the tunnel?

Jake's behavior has been improving recently. He's been on mood stabilizing meds for the past 2.5 weeks and I'm starting to see some positive changes in him. Yesterday, his dad asked him to unplug the vacuum and he even went so far as to say, "I'll do that for you Dad" ::::::jaw dropping to floor!::::: When Jared asked him to straighten up his room, he DID IT!!!! No complaints! WOW! I can't wait to see some more improvements. He even told me today that he's starting to think maybe it would be ok if he continued at this new school! YAHOO! This is the boy that I always knew was in there somewhere.
