My Granny!

Granny passed away last night. I am so happy for her! Her death was everything I could have ever wanted for her. She died peacefully in her sleep. She'd been doing not so well for a month or so. Luckily, last weekend, my cousins all got together from LA and Sacramento and made the trip to come and see her. There timing was perfect. Last night, at 2am, after getting the call from my mom, I just lay crying in bed.....no because I was sad (sure I'll miss her, but I'll see her again) NO, I was crying because she was done here, able to go home....My thoughts kept turning to one question...I wonder who she'll run into first up there? Will it be Papa? My little brother Brennen? Her parents?
Granny holding Brennen for the first time....almost 92 yrs older than him! WOW!

Granny and 13 out of her 18!!! GREAT grandkids! My 5 are there....can you pick them out?!

I'm sorry to hear that you lost such a wonderful woman in your family.
May the Lord just wrap his arms around you and comfort you during this time.

Dana, so sorry about your Granny. You have such a wonderful attitude about it all, just what your Granny would want. I'll be praying for you, I know the next few days will be hard.

I'm sorry about your grandma. How wonderful that she had such a long full life, but it's never enough time no matter how long.
