I got nothin....

It's my 300th posting and I've got nothin good to post about! I am stuck in cootieville right now. Yes, it IS as glamorous as it sounds....puking kiddos, yoyo-ing fevers, and let's not forget....the whining! "I don't FEEL good" "Don't sit by me, I'm SICK!" UGH. Oh the joys of motherhood. It started slowly yesterday with Tanner having a really lowgrade fever. He claimed to feel fine so I was going to *gasp* send him to school anyways! He LOVES kindergarten and was so upset thinking about missing a day. Well, on the way to school, he started looking a little....wilted. We went to the library instead for some good reading. At home, things started snowballing. Tanner's fever was a bit higher, he couldn't eat anything because "his tummy hurt" and then it happened....it came out of nowhere.....BRENNEN threw up! What?!? He was just FINE! Of course he had just finished gorging himself on lunch meats, baby food, crackers, juice....so there was LOTS of cleaning for me! He seemed fine afterwards so it may have just been that he ate too much. If you'd seen the amount that came up, you'd agree with me. I had to clean it up which mean rinsing out all his clothes and.....*GAG* I had to touch it! Ok, now I was feeling kinda queasy. There's nothing worse than cleaning up vomit! Tanner seemed fine until much later in the day when he fell asleep in his carseat. He woke up with "a terrible headache" He's very anti medicine but he did want something. He seemed ok after he took some Dimetap (I thought maybe he was getting a sinus infection) Later that night.....Tanner threw up! But, being the champ he is, he had asked for a pitcher and kept that by his side so clean up was minimal. THANK GOD! Jared camped out with Tanner upstairs and I had my work cut out for me with Brennen downstairs. It was quite a night. I don't know if babies can have Restless Leg Syndrome but if they can, then Brennen has it. Picture a dog sleeping....having a dream...and running and running. That was Brennen.....ALL...NIGHT....LONG! He could not be still! It drove me crazy. Of course he was in bed with me to maximize my insanity. I tried everything. Swaddling him, holding his legs down, turning him onto his tummy....it was no use. I finally managed to half sleep (you other moms know what I mean) with him in my arms. I MUST have bruises from him kicking me so much. So, that's it for me and my exciting 300th post. I'm off to buy more Lysol!
