So scared

I went to take Jon and Tucker to school this morning, leaving Tanner and Jake home (as usual) They're both usually still asleep when I get back....today was different. I walked back into the house to find BLOOD drops all the way down my stairs. Apparently, poor Tanner woke up, feeling his nose "dropping" and when he wiped it with his hand (EWW!) he saw that it was blood so he went to wake Jake up. Poor guy was so scared. I got home not long after he had woken Jake but I felt HORRIBLE for not having been there. Tanner's NEVER had a bloody nose and from the looks of it, it was a bad one. His sheets had a pool of blood on them and everything. He had blood all over both hands, his face, his chest and tummy and it had dripped all through my house. It seems to have stopped now but he is convinced he needs a doctor. He did get hurt at tball practice yesterday. His face got hit by another kids helmet. I *think* he must've gotten his nose hit but he says he doesn't remember and I didn't see it happen. Hopefully, this will be the last of it though.....

How scary for him! I would've panicked opening that door. Hope he's all better.

That sounds very scary for both him and you. Hope all is well now.

My heart would have dropped to my shoes if I had walked in on that scene. Doesn't sound like anything serious though, poor guys.
