I want to WRING their NECKS!

No, no, not my boys.....my ROOSTERS! Awhile back when I first purchased some hens from a lady, I bought what I thought was several hens and A rooster. It ended up that two of them were roosters! UGH! Well, that was all fine and good until recently. The roosters have been feeling extra frisky, trying to have their way with the ladies. Mostly they go after these two big black and white hens who are mean to all the others. I didn't mind this because, well, the black and whites are getting their karmic payback for being so pecky at the other chickens! Well, the "brain brothers" (as I have dubbed the roosters because of their brainy looking combs)....the brain brothers have CROSSED the line! They went after one of the babies yesterday! Not one of the older ones who could hold their own but one of the the littlest ones! You have to understand that one of the "bros" will grab an unsuspecting hen by the feathers on her head (YES! VICIOUS!) and when the other one hears the commotion, he comes over and starts attacking the hen! So, the apparently grabbed a baby chick and they essentially SCALPED her! She is in such bad shape. I wouldn't even let Tucker or Tanner in to see her because it was such a gory sight. She no longer has any feathers on her head, the skin around her eyes is all swollen and she literally has NO skin on top of her head! They really ripped it clean off! She's even now blind in one eye! The pupil is all milky colored.... I am furious at those stinkin roosters. I know they're just doing their thing but they are TOTALLY dispensible. I have NO need for more baby chicks. I do, however, want eggs. SO, I caged up the two lunatics and I'm gonna have to figure out what to do with them. I think we'd be fine with one....he wouldn't be able to do as much damage. But, GEESH, I cannot have them doing this to those babies. Anyone have any ideas? I really do just want to wring their necks. Who knows, they've been in a cage together all night. Maybe they've attacked each other! The dummies.....

Oh poor thing! Rooster are so mean. I remember being chased by my grandpa's rooster when I was little. I don't have any suggestions for you other then to have some chicken for dinner. LOL

OMG!!! I am experienceing the same thing right now with my 1 Rooster who thinks his S**T dont stink! He will be dinner sooner than later. I feel so badly for the hens having to put up with his neck grabbing and pecking. I believe I have more than one rooster, they are just Bantam Chickens and cannot tell just yet who is what. The Rooster is on my front porch for the night.
My suggestion to anyone with more than one rooster, One is good. If you feel that they are really getting out of hand with the hens, try taking him out of the coop for 24 hours or longer.......he then looses his pecking status and the shoe somtimes fits on another foot. He may get his ass beat...but they always say, WHAT COMES AROUND....GOES AROUND!!
So sorry about your little chick! I would have killed him right then and there!
