Last night, I had the strangest dream. I dreamt that Branson was born, only he was missing the very essence of his Branson-ness......his penis! Yes, in my dream, Kaiser was once again wrong about the sex of my baby. Instead of having the boy that they told me I was having, I actually had a girl. The odd thing is, my mom knows of 2 people that this has actually happened to. I guess maybe I should get a 4D ultrasound.....just to be sure!
Really though, how weird would that be?!?!?
Anybody know of anyone that that's happened to?
When you've got a 6 pack of boys, everyday is a PARTY! How, you ask, do I manage to stay so sane? That, my friends, is only an illusion......

I just can't believe it....
My ultrasound is now only 2 days away! HOLY COW! It seems like that time flew by. Hopefully the little squirmy one will cooperate for some gender see-all pictures.
PS. My mom looked at me last night and out of the blue said, "I think this time it's going to be a girl. I just looked at you and got a feeling." Now, you have to understand that my mom is notorious for being dead on with these things...... Only time will tell. Wouldn't it just figure....I'm TOTALLY stumped on the perfect girl name! Somehow, I think I'd manage though. ;0)

Give it your best guess.....I won't hold you accountable if you're wrong!
Let me start this by just saying how unhappy I am with my computer right now. It's acting all kinds of crazy. Now, maybe I'm delusional but I strongly belive that when I push a button on my computer, it should just go ahead and do what it's been programmed to do. Instead, it's freezing up and giving me the "not responding" message. Man, obviously my computer is a boy.....
Anyhoo, the point of this post was to ask you to take a peek at the question to your immediate right. See that little poll? Go ahead, take a wild guess. It's a 50/50 shot that you'll be right.
As for those of you who've voted already....thanks! I must say, I like where the majority of you are going with your "gut" Those of you who voted boy....shame on you! Where is the positive thinking there? With that being said, I thank you for your honesty. I cannot, after all, see who voted what.....you know who you are.
As for me. I have very mixed feelings on the subject. Many have asked if this pregnancy feels different. Well, yeah, but I'm, you know, older now..... I would love to say that I have a feeling it's a girl. I sort of do but cannot tell if that's just my desire or a real "feeling". I fully expect to see a penis on this baby as my track record seems to be chock full of them. Brennen seems to be convinced that he's having a sister so I guess for now, I'll go with that.
There are many things that may lead a superstitious person to believe it's a girl.
1. I've never had a baby born in an odd year. 2009 is definitely NOT an even number.
2. I've never given birth while I am an even age...(I am now and will be in October)
3. Tanner was *supposedly* a girl according to ALL of his numerous ultrasounds and Brennen was born with an undescended testicle. Some may say we're getting closer to NO testicles!
4. I only have a boys name picked out. With Tanner and Brennen, I could only think of girls names...hence the funny trick karma decided to play!
So, vote! Not that your votes will actually SWAY the final result. But it's sort of fun to see who was right and who was wrong. And I fully expect after my ultrasound results that you will all fess up to just how you voted.

Bummer!
Since I've been given one last opportunity to experience pregnancy, labor and delivery(in all it's glory! LOL) I wanted to really soak it all in and do it MY way. One thing I've always wanted to do but never have is a home birth. I've been looking into some options. We have Kaiser and it doesn't offer that option which, I think, stinks! I've been researching it online but am finding that it's ridiculously expensive. We're talking $5500 here! YIKES! Yeah, like I've got that in my back pocket. I'm really bummed out about it because when Brennen was born, they put a limit on how many people could be in the delivery room. Basically, I was forced to have some people wait it out in the waiting room. Not that I want a big ole party in there but, I have a big family and I want who I want to be there. I also would LOVE to do water birth. That's something that's always interested me. Alas, Kaiser doesn't offer that wonderful choice either. Pooh on Kaiser! So, I think I am going to be stinkin hospital bound at some point in October. I'm not happy about it at all. I HATE staying in the hospital. To me, the hospital stay is FAR WORSE than labor and delivery. I hate being woken up at all hours of the night by nurses checking to make sure I'm feeding my baby. Well, I haven't lost one yet so chances are, I'm a fairly capable mother. Also, the beds aren't comfy and I don't really want to hear everyone elses babies. I just want to rest. Hopefully, things will go smoothly and they'll let me out of that prison early. It'd be even easier if it was just a girl because I wouldn't have to wait to have any "procedures" done. UGH! Yes, I'm going to pout about not getting my way. I am going to continue to search for an option that's more appealing and financially doable. If you have any ideas....send em my way!

Tucker's first Halloween.
Mariah is having an AWESOME contest over at Help! I have a teenager. Seems that Halloween is her favorite holiday and she's requested a little Halloweenie from all entering her contest. This here is one of my best Halloween stories....
My first 3 boys were born in May, March then May again. Since they were all born around the same time of year, they all wore the same Halloween costume for their first Halloween. Or....for MOST of their first Halloween. The costume was SO cute, a little dalmation puppy outfit. Jammies really, so it was cute and functional being that I could put my passed out puppies directly to bed. Well, Tucker decided to break out of the mold and do something a little different. We were all ready and set to go to our friends Halloween party. I had my puppy dressed and ready. Then it happened.....he had one of those massive blow outs that only little babies are capable of. There was poo everywhere! I was thisclose to simply throwing the puppy outfit out. It was horrible. Halloween was ruined. I had NO back up costume for him and we had to leave. My mom had a great idea. She went rummaging out in her storage shed and came back with an outfit that fit perfectly. Yep, my boy Tucker spent his first Halloween as a girl! He wore the CUTEST ever pink dress and headband. Nobody would've known that he was in costume either. I mean, strangers never would have guessed because he looked so dang pretty with his blond hair, blue eyes and rosy cheeks. Man, makes me want a girl just thinking about it! So there you have it.....my Halloween story!

Alien
So, I've blogged about my mom's weird dream. Here's mine from last night and it's stranger by far! In real life, when my mom was pregnant with my brother, she used to be able to grab limbs when he'd kick and actually get ahold of them. Then it was a fun lil tug of war game as he tried to reclaim his limb. My 22 yr. old sister seems fascinated by that story and loves to see if she can grab this baby's arm or leg when he kicks me. So far, she's had no luck, he's quick.... BUT, last night, in dreamland, I was quicker! I grabbed a limb and held on. I showed her, "look, I got one!" Suddenly, you could clearly see a hand on the end of the limb. I thought, "Dang, that's awfully high for a hand, that should be down much lower!" Then, the skin on my belly seemed to get incredibly thin because next thing I knew, the baby was kicking out a foot, which I could see clearly, in 3D. Before we knew what was happening, the entire baby, from the neck down was completely visible outside my stomach. We were up at my mom's and we went to show her. I was basically carrying the baby in my arms (except for the head which was still not visible) The baby was still quite active and when the legs were kicking around, I caught sight of something I've NEVER seen on my children........GIRL PARTS! My eyes got really wide and I yelled at Bre (sis) "Look, it's a girl!" It was definitely a girl, plain as day! I was in shock! Then I woke up...... So, I'm sure this child is not going to actually morph out of my stomach (from the neck down) BUT, is this some kind of sign that the baby is indeed a pink one rather than a blue one? Hopefully we will know for sure really soon! WHAT A CRAZY DREAM!
