Way to make yourself known!

Yesterday, SEVERAL times, I felt an unmistakeable wriggling in my belly. No, it wasn't gas or indigestion this time.....this baby is finally making herself known! Isn't that one of the greatest feelings?

Sidenote: I am just going to call the baby a she. This by no means indicates that I am clairvoyant and holding back valuable information from my blogging buddies. It simply means that I cannot find it in my heart to ever call my baby "it". UGH....how can people DO that? Of course, it can't hurt to think positively, right? If she ends up being a he, you won't tell on me, right?!?!

Miraculous!

Thank God! My boys have been cohabitating for several days now and they are BOTH still alive! Very much so, as a matter of fact. Why didn't I do this sooner? There has been peace between the two. There have been shared jokes at the dinner table and LAUGHTER! Yes, laughter, at MY table! Between Jake and TUCKER! I'm still waiting for all hell to break loose but they seem to have turned a corner. By they, I mean Jake. He's been so much happier! It's amazing! Tucker's always been a big fan of Jake's so the fact that he's going along with the good vibes is no big surprise. I am just estatic over this change.

Now if I could just get Tanner's ADHD results and some meds for him.....

Well, I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too, huh?

Alien

So, I've blogged about my mom's weird dream. Here's mine from last night and it's stranger by far! In real life, when my mom was pregnant with my brother, she used to be able to grab limbs when he'd kick and actually get ahold of them. Then it was a fun lil tug of war game as he tried to reclaim his limb. My 22 yr. old sister seems fascinated by that story and loves to see if she can grab this baby's arm or leg when he kicks me. So far, she's had no luck, he's quick.... BUT, last night, in dreamland, I was quicker! I grabbed a limb and held on. I showed her, "look, I got one!" Suddenly, you could clearly see a hand on the end of the limb. I thought, "Dang, that's awfully high for a hand, that should be down much lower!" Then, the skin on my belly seemed to get incredibly thin because next thing I knew, the baby was kicking out a foot, which I could see clearly, in 3D. Before we knew what was happening, the entire baby, from the neck down was completely visible outside my stomach. We were up at my mom's and we went to show her. I was basically carrying the baby in my arms (except for the head which was still not visible) The baby was still quite active and when the legs were kicking around, I caught sight of something I've NEVER seen on my children........GIRL PARTS! My eyes got really wide and I yelled at Bre (sis) "Look, it's a girl!" It was definitely a girl, plain as day! I was in shock! Then I woke up...... So, I'm sure this child is not going to actually morph out of my stomach (from the neck down) BUT, is this some kind of sign that the baby is indeed a pink one rather than a blue one? Hopefully we will know for sure really soon! WHAT A CRAZY DREAM!

Mom's dream

My mom had a crazy dream the other night about me going into labor. In her dream, she was driving me and Jared to the hospital. My dad was following in the suburban with all the boys. Apparently, I told her that I thought the baby's head might be coming out. Sure enough, it was! She pulled over on the side of the freeway and flagged down my dad. She was super prepared with blankets, flashlights, and even gloves because "new babies are slippery" The baby was delivered and wrapped in a blanket and I was a grinning fool because "I'm not pregnant anymore!" My mom forgot to check if it was a boy or a girl! BUT, she even knew what city she was in when she had to pull over. Is this a glimpse of what's to come?......
